WHY WE DO IT
The residue of a pandemic, a steady erosion in gathering spaces, and the warping sense of reality by devices are making us lonely. Music is a healing force that unifies us; all it takes is an open heart and some willing folks to connect, listen, and learn something new together.
HOW IT WORKS
The group gathers monthly at a member’s house, rotating hosts for each session. The host creates three musical categories. Each participant then secretly submits a song to match each category. The host plays through each track randomly, while the group listens and tries to guess whose song it is.
WHO IT’S FOR
You don’t have to be an audiophile or have a massive vinyl collection. Anyone can create their own group and host a session. Sessions can be held privately in a member’s home or publicly at a listening event. Similar to a book club for music, there could be chapters in every town. If you create one, let us know!
